Sleepovers 101
Hello and welcome to a very special post in the Wise Owl Club's blog!
Every time we have a sleepover, we try to ensure that it is perfect. And here are some tips for you!
First up, have everything nicely planned out. Ignore the fact that half of it may not go by plan. Decide a date when everyone is free. Decide a specific time to meet up. We suggest the ideal sleepover timings to be 1pm on Day 1 to 10am on Day 2. You can either do that or 6pm on Day 1 and 10 am on Day 2. Anything you want.
Tidy up your house. It is sure to get messy by the end of the sleepover but its best to have everything neatly organized. You can even make a to do list, so the question "What should we do?" followed by "I'm bored" won't even come around.
What's a sleepover without watching a movie? Nothing. Choose a movie from a genre that you and all your friends like. If someone doesn't like horror but everyone else does, you can choose a slightly less scary movie which that friend will like but the others will too. Make sure you have popcorn ready before you play the movie because it's always annoying when we aren't even halfway through the movie, and everyone gets up and goes to the kitchen to find something to munch on.
Speaking of munching on stuff, make sure your house is stocked up with snacks. Because they are the key ingredient to the best part of a sleepover. The Midnight feast! You should always have a midnight feast. No matter what.
It's really hard to eat and chat sneakily in the middle of the night so you can check out our Midnight Feasting 101 Blog for some tips and tricks (based on true stories) - Midnight Feasting 101
Does it ever happen to you, that you wake up late on school days and strangely early on holidays? Always wake up early on sleepover mornings. The more time, the more fun. Even better, these mornings are absolutely perfect for pillow fights as many people are cranky when they wake up and oh well, it's just fun to hit each other with pillows!! We WOC agents have even invented our own game, X-treme pillow fall.
You can also check out the X-treme pillow fall post so you can try it out yourself!! -
Sometimes, walking on a quiet road and chatting with your friends can also be fun. Go on a morning walk to stretch your legs and gossip...! Make your own breakfast, it gives you more time to talk and it is really fun watching each other's bloopers while cooking! French toast, bread omelet or a sandwich are some ideas.

Sleepovers also feel rather incomplete without styling your friends' hair or having your hair styled by your friends. Search up some cool hairstyles that you've always wanted to try but you need someone to help you with them. It is a nice feeling when your friend clicks a photo of your hairstyle and shows it to you and you're like "Are those really my hair?!" We've even made a Sleepover Hairstyles post so you can read about that too! -
Actually, there are many ways you can have a sleepover. Camping in the woods counts. If you won't get a chance to do so, you can always try camping in your terrace! Whatever are we talking about?! Check out our Terrace Camping 101 post for more - Terrace Camping 101
But the most important tip with the highest ranking is, have fun!
We know you'll be having amazing sleepovers, so enjoy!!!!
